excellent stay
helpful staff cosy room great food lovely bathroom
staff was very helpful after a day walking when i was wet and muddy. the room was cosy. it was well appointed. the dogs were well catered for too. food was also great. there was plenty of tea, coffee, and biscuits provided in the room. the bathroom was lovely
the service was not the best. no one came to ask what i wanted after i asked for the menu for desserts.

The staff was super friendly. The vegan breakfast was very nice. I appreciated this a lot. The room was immaculate and beautiful. the location near the town was really convenient. I had a perfect weekend away!
The room was comfortable, though it was dark! I'd prefer a room with more natural light next time.

wide variety variety of drinks departure gift bag excellent food quirky design
The staff provided a wide variety of drinks in the room. This was a thoughtful touch. I also received a gift bag upon departure. The breakfast and evening meal featured excellent food. The historic building had a lovely, quirky design.
I found the room dark, because its only window faced a light-well near the hotel kitchen, not ideal.

disturbing noise relaxing stay
Breakfast service was acceptable. There were many option of food and drink.
The room was next to the kitchen. I heard disturbing noise all morning. It was not the relaxing stay I expected for that price. I expect compensation.
